As Wesley House develops as an intentionally international community of scholarship and research, so overseas partnerships are becoming vital to our lifeblood. We are keen to develop stable relationships between ourselves and overseas Methodist or Methodist-related institutions in order to learn from one another and to create excellent study experiences for students and staff who travel to Cambridge. If your institution might be interested in a formal partnership with us, please contact our Principal, Dr Jane Leach.

Candler School of Theology
Since 2008 Wesley House and the Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, USA have been working together. From 2015-16 we anticipate that a student on the MDiv programme at Candler will come for a year to study on the University of Cambridge Diploma in Theology for Ministry programme and be part of the Wesley House residential community.

Kwanglim Methodist Church
Over the last three years Wesley House has been delighted to develop a friendship with Kwanglim Methodist Church in Seoul and with its senior pastor, The Revd Chung Suk Kim. We are working together to find ways for Korean students to enjoy learning opportunities in Cambridge.

Seth Mokitimi Methodist Seminary
Wesley House has had a longstanding connection with the training institutions of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa, and latterly with the new seminary in Pietermaritzburg. The Revd Dr Mvume Dandala , the current President of SMMS, is himself, an alumnus of Wesley House. In the past Wesley House has had two members of staff from the MCSA, Dr Itumeleng Mosala, and The Revd Madika Sibeko. We are hoping to update our long standing exchange programme to suit our new circumstances.

Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington
This year Wesley House and Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, have entered a new partnership. Together we have planned and will deliver two DMin tracks, validated by WTS and taught in Cambridge. We also hope that each year one or more MDiv or MStud students from WTS will come to Cambridge for the year and study on the University of Cambridge Diploma in Theology for Ministry programme and be part of the Wesley House residential community.

IAMSCU
Wesley House is member of the International Association of Methodist Schools, College and Universities. Last May our Principal was part of the association’s conference in Hiroshima and we are proud that IAMSCU’s founding President, Dr Roger Ireson, was once a student of Wesley House.
