The Friends of Wesley House launched in February 2015 as the College was beginning to redefine its purpose and mission after decades of providing initial ministerial training for the British Methodist Church.

As the College approaches its centenary year in 2021 we decided to integrate its fund-raising activities into one scheme that supports the overall work of Wesley House and so the scheme closed to new members and Friends whose subscriptions expire are instead invited to continue to support to the College through contributions to the Funding our Vision appeal; further details can be found here.

From 2015 until the scheme’s closure in 2019 the Friends raised some £30,000 for the College through annual subscriptions and events held at Wesley House and at Wesley Methodist Church. In addition to raising these valuable contributions for the bursary funds, the Friends provided support and hospitality for the College, its staff and students.

The Trustees are very grateful to the Friends of Wesley House, and particularly to the members of the Friends Working Group, for their support.
