Continuing Development in MinistryThe MA in Pastoral Theology is open to those with prior theological learning and who are engaged in some form of Christian service or ministry. It offers particular opportunities for Regional Students to continue to study part time with modules such as preaching, health-care chaplaincy, spirituality & post-modernity... This is a structured research degree which enables students to engage in reflective practice on Christian ministry and service at doctoral level. The degree is part time and delivered by seminar, residential summer school and 1:1 supervision. UK and overseas applications are welcome. Pastoral Supervision Regular courses in pastoral supervision are offered for those with responsibility in ministry. The courses involve the preparation of a reflective portfolio and a three day residential. The course leaders are members of the Association of Pastoral Supervisors and Educators [APSE], and the course is approved by the Methodist Church for the training of Superintendent Ministers working with probationers.
