Research
As a Methodist minister and previous Secretary of the Methodist Church’s Faith and Order Committee I have a good understanding of Methodist theology, and more broadly experience of teaching both systematics and contextual and contemporary theologies.  I have a particular interest in methodology, the relationship between literature (fiction) and theology, and am currently exploring the theology of safeguarding and questions of forgiveness.

Supervisory Experience
I have previously supervised MA dissertations but am a new doctoral supervisor.
