Chris studied Modern History and Economics at Oxford, and has an MBA from London Business School. For ten years until 2022 he was Managing Director of Age International, during which time he was a trustee of the Disasters Emergency Committee. He was Chief Executive of Y Care International from 2004-12, and prior to that held a number of senior voluntary sector roles, including at Christian Aid and YMCA England. He has served in a number of trustee roles, and is currently a Trustee Director of The Pensions Trust. He is a member of the United Church, Winchester.
