Group Study Intensives at Wesley House

Our next intensive is 19-30 January 2026

Deepen your research. Connect with our academic community. Experience Cambridge.

Wesley House offers two intensive study periods each year, designed to bring together independent researchers, PhD students, prospective postgraduate students, early career researchers, and sabbatical scholars. We create a unique intercultural Wesleyan-rooted community of prayer and scholarship in the heart of Cambridge.

What to Expect

Each day is shaped by a rhythm of shared prayer, lectures, study skills sessions, and opportunities to present your research. Afternoons offer time for independent study in our well-equipped library or meetings with supervisors and staff. Meals are shared together, and participants are encouraged to engage with the wider Cambridge theological community.

Whether you are:

  • A PhD student looking for fresh inspiration,

  • An early career researcher seeking a supportive scholarly environment,

  • A sabbatical scholar in search of stimulating academic engagement,

  • Or a prospective postgraduate student working on your research proposal,

– you are warmly invited to join our Study Intensives.
