Wesley House Cambridge is re-opening its doors to students and scholars in the Wesleyan tradition from all over the world following a two year building project. We hope you will join us in our week of events to celebrate the Rededication of the College.
In particular we hope to welcome you to two events that are being held at Wesley Church. They are open to all and there is no need to book.
On Monday 24th April at 7.45pm Professor Eamon Duffy will speak on ‘Reformation and the end of Christendom: two visions’. Admission is free and refreshments are provided from 7.15pm.
Wesley Church is hosting a Circuit Service on Sunday 30th April at 6.30pm (not 6.00pm as previously miscommunicated) with the participation of the National Methodist Youth Brass Band. The service will be led by the Superintendent Minister, and Trustee of Wesley House, The Revd Colin Smith. The preacher is the Principal of Wesley House, The Revd Dr Jane Leach. During the service we shall say thank you and farewell to our Director of Studies, Dr Cindy Wesley and mark the end of Prof Judith Lieu’s time as Chair of the Wesley House Trustees.
On Sunday 30th April the Friends of Wesley House will be serving tea and cake at Wesley House from 4pm. Admission is free and we hope many of you will take the opportunity to come and meet with us and to have a tour around the new and refurbished college buildings.
