Why take the DMin at Wesley House ?
The DMin course being offered by Wesley Theological Seminary at Wesley House has been designed to offer a very specific set of needs:
The DMin:
– is intended for active ministers who are interested in postgraduate study but who cannot spare the time to take a full time course or who do not wish to follow a course which is intended to train them for further academic research.
– offers approach that is rooted in practice and addresses practice issues.
– is designed as a professional qualification to enhance leadership and ministry skills.

The residential elements of the course are based in Cambridge, using Wesley House where space permits. The college facilities have recently been rebuilt to modern standards, in a traditional college setting. There will be daily chapel and full board catering during the teaching weeks, giving participants a flavour of the college’s community ethos. The newly built library and archive resources are also available to students. Wesley House is located in the centre of the medieval city and within five minute’s walk of a variety of restaurants, shops, parks, historic buildings, theatres, museums and other attractions.
At weekends there will be free time that can be used for study, enjoying the city or travel. For example, Cambridge is 45 minutes by train from London and 5 hours from Paris via Eurostar!
