Funded Programmes in Theological Research for African Methodist Theological Educators
In partnership with the World Resources team of the British Methodist Church, and Kenya Methodist University, Wesley House is pleased to be able to offer funded scholarships for Methodist theological educators in Africa to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Theological Education at Kenya Methodist University from May 2023.
The programme is for African Methodist theological educators who belong to denominations in formal partnerships with the Methodist Church in Britain and are teaching in African theological/higher education institutions.

Successful completion of the PG Certificate will enable you to apply for a five year part time distance PhD at Anglia Ruskin University offered through Wesley House starting in April 2024.
The aims of this programme are to:
- equip Methodist theological educators from across Africa for research-led thinking and formation that is theologically astute and responsive to African needs in a global context.
- bring together theological and contextual expertise from across continents and Methodist traditions to build a community of African Methodist researchers in theology and religion with global connections and reputation.
