Current situation

I Am currently the Superintendent Minister of the Brikama circuit in the Methodist Church The Gambia. I am the probationers secretary  and the head of Theological Education in the The Methodist church The Gambia. I am also Adjunct lecturer in the university of the Gambia, teaching Denominational Polity& Practice, Denominational History and Theology, Christian Ethics and Social Action and New Testament 1&2. I help students having difficulty with Mathematics. My hobbies include going for evangelism, playing football and Golf. I am married to Susan Ashcroft and we have two children.

 

Research Area

“John Wesley’s Principle of Stewardship”, An Examination of the Poverty Reduction Strategic Plan and Interventions of The Methodist Church in The Gambia.

My thesis will examine whether The Gambia Methodist Church’s poverty reduction strategy and interventions have helped the government in their efforts to reduce poverty in the Gambia and recommend how the principles of stewardship in John Wesley’s economics will help inform The Methodist Church’s strategy and interventions on poverty reduction in the Gambia
