Current situation
I serve as conference treasurer for the Kenya – Ethiopia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and Episcopal Area Pensions Benefits Officer.
As a consulting accountant over the last 9 years have worked with church leaders both in the UMC and other denominations training on financial accountability and stewardship and published own training manual with which I use to train. I also tutor at the Wesleyan United Methodist Training College (WUMTC) a UMC related college.
As Benefits Officer working with Wespath has helped set up accounting systems for the East Africa Episcopal Area and the Mozambique Episcopal Area to improve on accounting data records and bolster confidence in the accounting systems of the Pension Plans.
I earned my BBA (Finance & Economics) from L’Université Espoir d’Afrique a Free Methodist University in Bujumbura Burundi and later MBA (Strategic Management & Finance) from the Kenyatta University in Kenya.
Research Area
Title: Stewardship theology and Financial Accountability in East Africa Episcopal Area of the United Methodist Church
Purpose: The purpose of this research is to upscale the church’s role in stewardship and financial accountability as a valuable tool for the next frontier of ministry growth and development.

- Research project: The influence of Iso 9001 quality management systems certification on the competitive advantage of Kenya’s universities. A survey of selected Iso 9001 qms certified universities in Nairobi, Kenya.
